It was great to be at the Microsoft Developer Day 2016 held in Singapore.

The man himself Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella graced the occasion and gave some interesting insights into the future of technology. It was his first visit here to Singapore which signals Microsoft's long term vision for the South East Asia. Microsoft Technical Fellow, John Shewchuk and leading Data Scientist, Dr Graham Williams were also present and gave a short presentation on their areas of expertise.

It was also good to hear about Microsoft's collaboration with the National University of Singapore in setting up the new Institute of Data Science. After hearing what Dr Graham Williams had to say, it actually makes sense why this is the time we need more data scientists to intelligently use the billions of data that is going to be gathered in real-time in the future to improve our lives whether it is business or personal.

We are excited and hoping to work along the same line in terms of where technology is heading towards to. We personally found the Microsoft HoloLens out of the world!
